We were pleased to have had the opportunity to welcome CNN Anchor Jake Tapper to Adolphustown. Jake is a descendant of Solomon Huff, who originally settled in the township in the 1780s. Jake, along with producer Eric and cameraman Steve spent the day filming at the Old Hay Bay Church and at Adolphustown Park, the site of the 1784 Loyalist landing. Kathy Staples, OHBC trustee and member of the Adolphustown-Fredericksburgh Heritage Committee, and Peter Johnson, OHBC trustee and president of the Bay of Quinte Branch of the UEL were on hand to provide information.
